The reception to our first full-length album, "The Ladder," has been great! We want to thank everyone that has been involved, especially John Ripley at Ripley Recording and Azmyth Studios, for helping us to make it a successful project.

2015 is shaping up to be one of our busiest years so far. We have some projects in the works so keep checking back for updates or to see if we will be playing any shows near you!

What people are saying about "The Ladder:"

Wayne Bertsch (Barfly, NUVO) says: "This disc does the city proud...Jon Strahl has put out the best local blues release in a long time. You need this, trust me."

Kurt Anno writes on OnStage Magazine's website: "He has developed a style and sound that cannot be compared to anyone else. The challenge is to write original music that is played in one's own voice. This is exactly what Strahl has done on this record. "

Matthew Socey, host of the Blues House Party (WFYI 90.1 FM, Indianapolis) says: "'The Ladder' is a combination of blue-eyed soul, blues-rockin' tunes that would fit on classic rock radio and raw southern blues. A nice mixture from the Jon Strahl Band."

Tim McLaughlin (Promoter, Legion of Blues concert series) says: "...an old-school songwriter... Jon Strahl's range shines, with straight up blues, funk, soul, and gospel. Press play and GO!"
